Hi, I’m Jen
Veterinary Nurse l Educator l Health and Wellness Coach
My journey into wellness coaching however, wasn’t quite so direct. It began with my own personal challenge; a life-changing injury that forced me to re-evaluate my career, and my overall well-being.
During my recovery, I discovered wellness coaching, which not only supported my rehabilitation but gave me the tools to move beyond surviving, and towards thriving. Its foundations in positive psychology lifted me up on the hardest of days and empowered me to, quite literally, keep putting one foot in front of the other.
It wasn’t until several years later, working as a veterinary nursing teacher, seeing my students struggling with compassion fatigue, burnout and mental health challenges so early in their careers, that I knew I wanted to do more to help. It became clear that further support was neededd – for those already in the profession, as well as those just beginning their journey – and I believe wellness coaching could do just that.
In 2024 I completed a Professional Certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching and gained accreditation through Health Coaches Australia and New Zealand (HCANZA).
My coaching practice is rooted in positive psychology, and enhancing compassion satisfaction, guiding my clients from feelings of exhaustion, overwhelm and career uncertainty to a place where they feel energised, empowered and truly thriving – both professionally and personally.
If you’re feeling burned out, fatigued, or questioning your future in the industry, I’m here to help you rediscover your passion and create a sustainable, fulfilling career.

I began my career within the veterinary industry, like many others, driven by a deep passion for animals and a strong sense of purpose. Now with over 20 years in the veterinary industry – having worked as a veterinary nurse, team leader, industry representative, and teacher – I’ve experienced first hand the challenges that come with this demanding yet deeply rewarding career. I know all too well the toll that compassion fatigue, burnout and mental health struggles take on veterinarians, nurses and technicians.
